We have a strong, skilled team dedicated to ensuring that the clothes in your wardrobe are designed to stand the test of time — and whatever everyday Australian life may throw at it.
Our team consists of quality assurance technicians, production experts, and quality control professionals in our key countries of production. We have a structure in place to check from needle point and have pre-production meetings with our team and suppliers to ensure a smooth production process.
We have high standards — our AQL is set at 1.5, we test according to international standards, and we fit on professional live models. Our return rates are significantly lower than the Australian average: APG brands sit at 12%, whereas the industry average is 20–30%.
Technology
CLO3D & CLO‑SET
APG was one of the first Australian fashion retailers to implement 3D design — CLO3D & CLO‑SET. We have trained all our brands and key factories on the solution, and our brands develop 100% of their styles on CLO.
Time reduction on print strike off — print, colours, and placements are completed on CLO before printing.
Less sampling, reducing production waste and cutting sampling costs by 50%.
